Jean Sarantos has had a distinguished career in public education. Her 36 years in the field of teaching includes being selected Professor of the Year for Academic Excellence at Westfield State College (Now Westfield State University). There she developed the syllabus for and taught “United States in the Twentieth Century.” She earned a B. A. degree in political science from Michigan State University and an M.A. degree in political science from The University of Michigan. She also spent 30 years teaching in the public school system. After retiring, she chose to focus on the political climate within our nation and published her first book with her findings.
